A short walk from many local luthiers, with a spacious upper floor and good eating in the offer. friendly service and pleasant mood.
Menu only appeared in italian to an salatable of sorting in the room that led to the toilets, but we did not know that its existence until I went to visit the rest room and then the salatbars were mostly empty. I ordered tortellini with spinat and ricotta cheese, because it was the only article on the menu that appeared vegetarian. I didn't cost it here or in the other restaurant where I ordered it. edible, but bland. the desserts in the window looked inconspicuous, so we skipped dessert. the owners and server seemed very friendly and the place was full of natives, so we might have ordered the wrong things, or maybe we don't enjoy the local kitchen.
The quality of my antipasto and primo were excellent. I couldn't manage a secondary or dolce! I recommend the carpaccio di spada.
We arrived in Cremona from a two weeks stay in France anxious to sample the local cuisine. The owner of the apartment we were staying at had recommended a few restaurants in town this being one of them. From the moment we entered the...restaurant we felt welcome. We were warmly greeted and shown to a comfortable table for two. The tavern atmosphere was inviting. We struggled with the menu as our Italian left much to be desired. Much to our relief, Christian (chef, waiter, owner) was extremely helpful describing and suggesting entres typical of the area joined by the appropriate local wine. My husband opted for beef tartare the first night which he claimed was the best he had eaten in years, maybe ever (so much for France). We were in Cremona for two weeks and ate here five times. The food and service was by far the best we had on our trip a total of 7 weeks in Europe. Every meal we had was a delightful, yummy adventure. Thank you Christian!
Tried to find a non tourist rip off restaurant walking around in the center of Cremona and happened to pass by the „Il Palio dell'Oca“. I was very much surprised from the excellent local food, for a very reasonable price, very near the center of...Cremona. Service by owner was very friendly and personal. I will come again with family and friends!
