Despite some issues with service, the food quality was praised, and the ambiance was seen as a pleasant respite from travel troubles. While some felt the restaurant was overpriced and lacking in attention, others found it to be a standout option for hotel dining. Overall, La Brasserie offers a high standard of food and service, making it a recommended choice for travelers passing through Terminal 5.
AhhPerfect in every way New, comfortable, air conditioning and so convenient for a lay over in London.
I've read good things but it was disappointing Arrived at 2.30 with big queue at reception.
If there's a better airport hotel in the world then I want to know about it. You get what you pay for, pay a bit extra and get a club level room with
After a difficult journey to the airport it was a relief to relax in the quieting arms of La Brasserie, which was as reliable as ever. Once you have decided to spend the money, you will eat and drink well. I had sea trout, juniper and then shared the most beautiful lemon Dessert with my husband. Travel coaches forgot.
Food was good, but unfortunately the service was not. Started well, but how too often after we had served our main meal, everything went out of the window! I don't think we were ignored, but basically no waiter stopped an eye where we were at our meal, and so we had to constantly attract the attention of the staff first to get the dessert menu, and then order and then receive. We then had an indispensable wait for coffee (which they are too flat white are not Americans). The food was good when we got it, but not up to fine food in the long term.
