If you like hearing a chef hocker not once, twice, three but FOUR F 'in times before making your sushi rolls.... absolute nastiest experience ever in a so called restaurant!Suggested this location for a date. Date said years ago he got sick from their food but maybe better now. We go to lunch...Red Flag #1 date 's prior experienceRed Flag #2 the place was emptyRed Flag #3 the staff did not care about providing good serviceRed Flag #4 (and possible SEVERE health food violations) we order 4 sushi rolls, immediately after, the sushi chef in the back kitchen hockers so loud FOUR TIMES we can hear it at our table! Needless to say, loss of appetite, didn 't eat the food, and NEVER EVER EVER RETURNING. It 's a shame bec really like sushi and wanted to bring a lot of business lunches here. By far the grossest, most unprofessional thing I/we have ever experienced in a restaurant. Even if the dude/chef had a cold he should have taken that nasty sh!t outside. No one wants to hear you clear your wad of phlegm right after they order their food. And if you are doing the ungodly vengeance is the Lord 's! This is why ppl don 't eat out anymore bec you have ppl like this working . DISGUSTING VERY UNPROFESSIONAL POSSIBLE HEALTH CODE ISSUES! Horrible experience. BE WARNED!!!

Very clean, restaurant ?. Seafood soup was to die for! Presentation of sushi was plain but the sushi itself was good.

I was very impressed. I've seen this restaurant here for years and hadn't tried it. It was great. I'm glad we have such a high quality restaurant in crawfordsville!

We have been trying to eat here for weeks but every time we come in they are closed. Their hours on the door do not reflect the actual hours. At this point we won’t be back and will just travel to Indy because the food was mediocre at best the one time we have managed to catch them open. This location is an insult to the reputation that Yamatos has built.
