While some guests rave about the flavorful dishes, such as the juicy beef burger and chicken and bacon pie, others have encountered issues, including burnt food and untrained staff. The bar's selection of ales is well-regarded, but service inconsistencies can overshadow culinary successes. Despite its flaws, many patrons appreciate the welcoming environment and attentiveness of some staff members, making it a noteworthy spot for those seeking a hearty meal in a cozy setting. Overall, a place with potential that is worth a visit.
