It is unfortunate that this once lively and inviting village pub has been allowed to deteriorate. It now only opens sporadically, if at all. Having been familiar with this establishment for many years, it is disheartening to see it struggling to stay open as a pub. One can only wonder what the future holds for it. During our stay in the village, we visited this pub for a quiet drink on three evenings. The owners were really friendly and the pub was exceptionally dog-friendly, providing water and treats for our little dog. The ambience was lovely and they had a great music playlist. We also enjoyed a nice meal on Saturday night, nothing fancy - just scampi, chips, and peas, but it was hot and tasty. Unfortunately, there was not... View all feedback.
