Located in a gorgeous setting, this restaurant is a lifesaver for weary cyclists. Despite the tea-room being closed, the owner graciously allowed us to refill our water bottles. She went above and beyond by treating us to homemade chocolate cake and coffee, and even took the time to chat with us. The exceptional customer service truly saved the day for us. Thank you!
This restaurant is a wonderful place to stop in for lunch, coffee, cake, or an all-day breakfast. The service is very friendly, they pay great attention to detail, and the food is delicious. We will definitely be returning. The portions are very generous and the homemade dishes are scrumptious.
During our lunch meeting, two of us ordered the all-day breakfast, which was substantial, of high quality, and reasonably priced. The warm welcome extended throughout our visit, and our lunch was relaxed and enjoyable, allowing us plenty of time to catch up with our friends. The drive to the cafe through the beautiful Lancashire Yorkshire countryside was stunning, and it seems that Horton-in-Ribblesdale is a haven for walkers, so it's likely that many people stop by while out for a stroll. There was a nice variety of options on the menu. With two all-day breakfasts, two soup sandwich combos, teas, and coffees, our bill was less than £50, which we felt was a great value considering the quality and quantity of the food. We definitely plan to return, and we're sure our friends will want to join us again!
Perfect end to a day walking. Cakes and large pot of tea, lovely view west over the dale and very nice owners. Planning a return to Ribblesdale in September so will try here for lunch.
