Falls Cafe - Craven
Falls Cafe
Description
The restaurant received mixed reviews, with complaints about high prices, store-bought scones, and uncomfortable surroundings. One customer felt unwelcome due to strict food consumption rules. However, others enjoyed their experience, praising the crispy fish and friendly staff. Despite some shortcomings, the location near the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail was appreciated. Service was considered exceptional, and value for money was highlighted as a positive aspect. Overall, while some aspects of the restaurant could be improved, it still offered a delightful dining experience.

We have not long opened for breakfast, a fantastic eier benny and the family were so nice, can not wait to book for the restaurant if it is not busy
This meal was a delightful experience. The fish was perfectly crispy and the chips were absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing exceptional service. The value for the price was excellent as well. We greatly appreciate you staying open for us.
Caffe not especially welcome. the place was empty. I was there too. I understand hygiene rules, but the responsible woman would not even let my daughter have a glass of water. we ordered a scones and a part chips. no metal cutlery and no ordinary ****! why? all used was single use plastic. shocking! for the landfill! what is with clean dishwasher and cutlery and a dishwasher? very misguided ethos about hygiene and cleanliness. I have a flat white one. in my life. not even a half-decent old milk coffee. pretty disgusting. ingleton waterfalls trail is the whole opposite of caffe: absolutely brilliant.
Popped in for a cup of tea before enjoying the local falls walk. Place was largely empty and we sat outside to enjoy our tea and the sunshine, deciding it was a good place to also eat our packed lunch. Lady in charge came out...and rudely insisted we put our food away, noting the signs that say only purchased food may be consumed. I countered that although we agree with the principle, the place was empty and it seemed ridiculous to police this given that it was empty. Despite this the lady persisted and insisted that we put our food away or she would ask us to vacate the grounds. We appreciate the rule was there but that this is intended to protect their benches etc for paying customers in busy times. We had made a purchase in the shop and were causing no bother. The whole experience spoiled what had been a fantastic day so far and is a true lesson in jobsworth and poor customer relations.
