We looked for a spot for dinner near our hotel. Already running late, the restaurant agreed to take us in for lunch when we called. We were not disappointed. Good fondue, good pizza, good wine with very friendly, attentive service and reasonable prices. Want to try the fish on our next visit which the Maitre de service raved about. We will be back. What Brigitta Gatti doesn't like about Vieux Moulin:
The service was excellent but the food was average. Moderately priced, very well located. They specialize in wood fire oven pizza but we tried calzone and gnocchi. Calzone was under cooked and gnocchi was hard. I asked the waitress if it was prepared fresh and it was. This restaurant can be easily skipped View all feedback.
Levieux Moulin is located a block off the main road. It was the busiest restaurant on the strip with the most interesting menu, and we liked the fact that it had a wood fired oven. Most customers were sitting at the sidewalk tables as the weather was very nice. Our waiter was very friendly and spoke several languages. Inside, the atmosphere is cozy with rustic wood design, a bar, and the interesting wood fired oven.Of course, we each went for the wood fired oven pizza (Nostra 19CHF, and the chicken 20CHF). Both pizzas were good, but I would say my friends’ pizza, which I sampled, and we agreed had canned (rubbery) mushrooms for toppings instead of fresh ones. We had a beer along with our pizza, though of all the drinks listed on the menu, beer was not one of them (but when we checked our bill, the beer was reasonably cheap). In general, we were very pleased with the service though it did take an extra amount of time to get and pay for our check after we had requested to pay.The restrooms were very clean. The place even has free, unsecured Wi-Fi. A nice visit.

My wife had a traditional cheese fondue. I wanted to try the tomato fondue, which is also a cheese fondue with tomato to be served over small potatoes which they bring in a bag. It was a lot of fun and the food was excellent.
