Le Cafe - Cranganore

I discovered Le Cafe while strolling along the main street at Cherai Beach. The staff was friendly and unassuming about their casual restaurant. The atmosphere was laid-back and the food was delicious. It was served promptly and I would definitely recommend it.

We dined at this restaurant most evenings during our stay in Cherai. The fish dishes were the standout, but the chicken and prawns were also delicious. We did not try any vegetarian options, so we cannot speak to their quality. The restaurant was not overly crowded, so the staff was able to provide good attention to diners.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and the atmosphere feels like home. The service is quick and efficient. One downside is that it is open-air, so during the summer and mosquito seasons, it can be uncomfortable. The portion sizes are just right.

Visited this place today with my friends and family. This is the best place you can find in Cherai to catch up with your folks on a weekend. We occupied the table on the 1st floor which gives you an amazing seaview. They provide you with a variety of delicacies to choose from. Choose any seafood (especially grilled crab) and you will end up ordering more. Coming to the price, I would say that it is value for money. Staff was very friendly. A special mention for Akhil who runs this place. He is a very friendly and jovial guy who has a knack of understanding what you want on the plate. I will visit this place again soon.

Nice setting with a garden at the front where you can sit out, but also has fans scattered around too which is great, especially when eating one of their delicious curries.Staff are friendly and helpful and very attentive.Food was lovely with fresh fish,curries,chicken,etc available.
