read moreLidia's Kitchen may have lost some of its original flavor, but there were still some high points. Some dishes, like the roasted chicken and ropa vieja, fell short, but tostones were a standout. While service was generally good and the atmosphere was cozy, there were mix-ups with orders. On the positive side, the plantain nachos and spinach and cheese empanadas were delicious, and the carne paella was generous in size. BYOB and fair prices are an added bonus for this charming Cuban spot. Some inconsistencies with dishes, but overall a place worth trying for authentic Cuban cuisine.
