The restaurant appeared abandoned from the outside, giving the impression that no one had worked there in years. Despite a young man who seemed around 13 years old in the window, the pizza was surprisingly delicious. I have traveled extensively for work and can confidently say that this is some of the best pizza I have ever eaten. It was so good that I wish I could enjoy it again while being stoned. What Alton White doesn't like about Hero's Pizza:
I called to order a pizza for delivery, but the person who answered the phone sounded half asleep. He put the phone down and walked away from it. I hung up and tried calling back, but I got a busy signal. I decided to take my business elsewhere. Overall, the food was mediocre, the service was poor, and the atmosphere was lacking. This place is soooo good! We drove from Rankin because we had a pizza craving and decided to try this place out. They took less than 30 minutes and the food was delicious! Definitely going again!
The crust is cooked to perfection, less crust and more toppings. Their pizza makes the Leaning Tower stand upright in salute in perfection. I give them 5 Mama Mias.
