I love eggplant so I ordered their version. It was not to my liking so I ate the vegetables. The waiter noticed that I ate only a small section. He apologized and offered to have it removed from my bill. I appreciated that.

Great restaurant with authentic Southern Italian cuisine....Will most definitely be coming back soon!

I had planned a Mother's Day breakfast for my wife, as we've previously enjoyed dining at the Crane. Unfortunately, this time I mistakenly booked a table at D'Onofrio's, thinking it was L'Azure based on the photos in the gallery, which weren't very clear. When we arrived and spoke with the hostess at L'Azure, we were informed that there were no available tables. This was quite disappointing, and as a result, I didn't enjoy the breakfast very much.

Excellent! My families favorite restaurant to dine when we stay at The Crane.

We visited while on vacation in Barbados. Overall a very nice experience. Negatives: Foccacia bread was more like a soft roll and was not authentic Italian bread at all. Mussel appetizer was very skimpy both mussels and clams with 3 of the 5 clams, and one of the mussels completely shut. This is a BIG NO NO as that means that they were either not cooked or dead. Brought it to the servers attention and she returned with EXACTLY 3 clams and one mussel opened, but in a different sauce. (She should have comped the appetizer or returned with a FULL order). Zabaglione for dessert was not a rum and egg custard at all... but a lemon tart instead..again, not authentic Italian. Waitress was not knowledgeable about the drinks. Positives: Cream of chick peas soup was delicious...Pasta was cooked al Dente and flavorful. Mushroom risotto was on point. Received a complimentary brownie sundae for our anniversary.
