It had so much potential, organic and local food (full disclosure, I love these types of restaurants). They have kombucha on tap which was quite good. The coffee was also very good. My husband and I had the soul bowls (he had the lunch one and I had the breakfast). It was delicious and tasty until my very last few bites when I noticed that there was Mold on my bread. To be fare the bread has no preservatives which makes it prone to this in a very short period of time, but the kitchen staff should KNOW this and catch it. They were very busy and in all fairness I did eat the entire bowl before noticing myself, but still. They gave me 50% off the one bowl which is why they didn't get 1 star (staff was very apologetic and nice about it) but really we should have gotten the one bowl free or our entire meal 50% off (had that happened they would have definitely gotten at least another star). I think I'm going to go back and try this place again because it did have a lot of potential, but I will be inspecting my bread carefully. I think here most reviewers would have immediately given 1 star but they were saved by the delicious flavours, the fact I didn't notice right away, their kind staff, and that I happen to know that fresh bread with no preservatives can go bad in less than a day...but they should know that too and check carefully for it. If you are feeling brave, DEFINITELY check this place out (the food really was amazing and I didn't get sick...I'm writing this two days later). If the thought of this mould horrifies you then I'd stay away.

Do... read more Went to this place with some girlfriends last night because we had heard good things. Positives : The waitress was lovely and the atmosphere was very quaint. Downfalls: 1). We waited 1.5 HOURS just FOR APPETIZERS so we didn't bother ordering a meal and instead went down the street to the Heid Out for our meals because we were very hungry at this point. 2). My friend tried to order 2 different drinks before they finally had one that was available. 3). They ran out of appetizer plates so gave us 4 regular appetizer plates and 2 kids plates !4). The appetizer nachos had nothing on them! Do not order ! I would not recommend this restaurant.
