They know my usual... read more Max's place is definitely my go-to restaurant in Cranbrook. The staff is incredibly friendly and always makes me feel like a valued customer. They know my usual order, which gives it a real community feel. The prices are very reasonable, especially given that everything is made from scratch. The soup is absolutely delicious and incomparable to any other cafe. The staff is always willing to go above and beyond to ensure great service and meet any special requests. Annette, in particular, is fantastic and really goes out of her way to make sure you have a great dining experience.

Stopped in on Friday to pick up a treat for another local business, the staff are always so welcoming and positive in the morning. Any of the food options from sandwiches to quiche, muffins to cookies are wicked good. Myra loves the espresso. Thanks for being awesome. On a side note the store looks amazing in the winter time with Christmas lights on the street and the windows all fogged up in the AM! My favorite from here is the ham and cheese quiche, best enjoyed in the morning, out on the patio, with the sun warming you.
