we have chosen tamarind as we only stop for the night before we continue our journeys. chana masala and aloo gobi were very good! good amount of flavor and flavor. Just like our favorite Indian place to house! View all feedback.
Tamarind is a laid-back Indian restaurant with a diverse menu featuring appetizers, entrees, desserts, and drinks. The prices are fair and two employees provided efficient and friendly service to my husband and me. We savored the flavors of dishes like Samosa chat, malai kofta, butter chicken, and naan, although we were less impressed with the chicken Sangrila. I would happily dine at Tamarind again to try more of their delicious offerings.
Eating was fantastic both times I ordered takeout as well as being exact (I read some negative reviews that mention missing takeout elements). My daughter tried Indian food for the first time and loved it absolutely (she is very funny)! The only easy problem is how high the price for a not so large part of food is, but we are just out of a pandemic that really hurts this industry (also inflation), so I don't too much. I'll eat here soon!
The Indian food at Tamarind in Cranberry is really delicious. I didn't order a lot today, but everything I tried was more than satisfying. I had the channa bhatura (Chickpea Curry with puffy bread) and kheer. The chickpea curry was excellent, and I'm sure the full channa masala meal is equally amazing. The sauce had just the right amount of spices for me, which was great since I couldn't adjust the spice levels online. The curry had large chickpeas and wasn't too oily. The toppings of cilantro and raw onions were interesting, although I'm not a big fan of onions. The portion of curry was a bit small, but the bhaturabrot was large and puffy, as described. Some parts of the bread were oily while others were crispy, which I found to be perfect. It was especially delicious when reheated, bringing out the flavors of the oil and salt. The Kheer was also a hit, with whole nuts, cashews, raisins, and other fruits adding a nice touch. Overall, Tamarind in Cranberry offers high-quality and reasonably priced food. Though I haven't tried a lot, I can confidently say it's a solid restaurant worth recommending.
I drove for an hour to dine at this restaurant. I was pleased that they opened early at 4PM. I tried tandoori roti, Chettinad chicken, Hyderabad's dum biryani, and rice pudding. The roti and Chettinad were delicious. The biryani was average. The service was good. I wanted to try the pineapple cake, but unfortunately they didn't have it. The ambiance was also nice.
The food was amazing. I couldn't stop eating. I ate way too much! Great service. Thank you, Danny! You gave us great menu recommendations. I look forward ti my next visit. So much to choose from
