Description

Nestled along the waterfront, this Craig restaurant offers a picturesque view complemented by a friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices. However, the food quality receives mixed reviews. While some dishes, such as the Halibut Aleyska and local oysters, shine, others fall short with bland flavors and inconsistent preparation. The chicken burger arrived cold and misrepresented, while side dishes lacked freshness. While the beer options predominantly feature Alaskan breweries, the wine selection raises concerns due to low turnover. Despite the culinary inconsistencies, the limited dining options in Craig mean that this establishment remains a notable choice for both locals and visitors.

Very friendly, great place to dine or drink, right on the water with a beautiful view. eating is quite meh, of what I tried (remembers that this.

The food was incredible! I highly recommend the Halibut Aleyska—it's delicious! The prices were a bit steep, but that’s typical for Alaska where everything tends to be pricey. The restaurant could definitely use some renovations, but don’t let the outdated decor deter you; the food is definitely worth a visit.

The restaurant features a picturesque waterfront setting that offers a beautiful view. The staff members are welcoming, and the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, the food quality falls short of expectations. The prime rib I ordered was large but oddly moist and lacked tenderness. The spinach salad contained very little spinach, and the side dishes seemed to have been left out for an extended time. On my second visit, I opted for the chicken burger, which was supposed to include jalapeños but didn’t have any at all. The onion rings were bland and lacking flavor. Overall, the food was average and not particularly impressive. Additionally, the beer selection mainly consisted of offerings from Alaskan Brewery, and the wine list was somewhat questionable. Despite the lackluster food experience, dining options in Craig are limited, so it may take a bit of trial and error to find a dish worth ordering at this restaurant.

A lot of luck next time. I must say that I was not impressed by the food at ruth ann 's. I was disappointed that I was fed in customs where local fish and seafood are caught, and the prices for salmon, halibut etc. were over the best price! the fried oysters were drowned in rubbish. the martins were as small as in tiny! the atmosphere was great and the service was friendly, but the tariff did not fit, nor the prices.

Great oysters in front of location. we always get the fresh local oysters on the half shell and they have a great spinach salad. good food .. and local seafood. most fresh.
