If you're searching for a unique and eccentric spot in Ketchikan, The Asylum is the place to be! We stumbled upon it while on a cruise stop, and let's just say we left feeling a bit 'mad' about this place! The drinks are playful, the snacks are delightful, and the entire atmosphere has a wonderfully quirky vibe that's perfect for a break from reality (or for joining the 'asylum' crew—your call!). The decor and ambiance make you feel as though you've stepped into a fun, slightly unhinged refuge in the best possible way. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates a good laugh, excellent drinks, and an unforgettable experience!

I had an outstanding experience at this restaurant. The staff are friendly and sociable, ensuring there's never a dull moment. They offer a fantastic selection of Alaskan beers and liquors. The food is provided by Burger Queen, which is located right next door. I tried the Sriracha Bacon Burger, and it was delicious! Be sure to stop by for a drink and a meal; it's conveniently located just across the tunnel from the cruise port. The average cost per person is around $10 to $20.

I visited this place years ago and had a fantastic experience. The staff were excellent, the owner was really friendly, and the regular customers added to the welcoming vibe. Overall, I would rate it a perfect 5 for food, service, and atmosphere!
