We had a family group booking for a birthday party. Drinks orders were promptly taken and didn 't take long to arrive but it was downhill from there. We ordered... read more We had a family group booking for a birthday party. Drinks orders were promptly taken and didn 't take long to arrive but it was downhill from there. We ordered our meals and when someone placed their order, were told that a basic item 'potato mash '...couldn 't provided what the...! It was around 75 80 minutes before the food turned up (could have been even longer as we 'd forgotten what time we 'd ordered). After all that time waiting, an incorrect meal was brought out but rather than just taking it back, the waitress argued with us that someone had ordered it. On top of that, one order was completely missed and the lady had to wait another 15 minutes after we 'd all been served for hers to arrive. Some of the party had been there before several times and said they 'd never seen service that. Bad night? I certainly wouldn 't be going back based on that experience.

The restaurant was... read more What a huge disappointment! We had family from interstate staying with us and booked at Jimmies for dinner to ‘showcase’ Adelaide Hiils food. The restaurant was almost empty, however the wait for food was over 45 minutes. The entree was served AFTER the main course, which was stone cold absolutely awful. We really wished we had booked at the Crafers Pub over the road. It was an embarrassment. We were offered sweets the one dish we would have liked that was on the menu was ‘unavailable’. We live in the Hills and are passionate supporters of Hills businesses. However Jimmies has gone downhill in a spectacular way. Such a pity it used to be such a great place. Sadly we won’t be back.
