We had a nice experience, it was the first time we visited. It was Memorial Day and even though it was full the waitresses were always friendly. The dishes are large for a good price and the flavor of the food is very rich. They don't have parking, only around the street, but it was easy to find a space. The bathrooms were clean. What Alexander Jones (LumberJones) doesn't like about Riccobono's Panola Street Cafe Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews:
Small slice of the local neighborhood but took almost two hours to get a burger out of the kitchen and even then aside from the bun there was nothing to write home about. Rest of the food our group ate was fine but nothing amazing. View all feedback.
What a nice local spot! Had an awesome breakfast omelette, grits, biscuit. Coffee was first rate as was the welcome and the service. A keeper.
The breakfast is good. The service depends on the waitress you get. Nice eclectic atmosphere.
Adorable place in a nice neighborhood. They sat 3 groups before us because they had no name taking system waitresses seemed to just pick people at random. Besides that service was good, but honestly I'm not sure how people review the food so highly. It's just about the most average tasting food I have eaten in new orleans, about one step up from waffle house. If you want really good breakfast food go to Toast, Bearcat, and I've heard Molly's rise and shine is great. If they stepped up the food game this place would be bussin, but it ain't so save your money.

Convenient local breakfast (or lunch joint for those in the neighborhood. Gets the job done. Friendly staff. Most dishes are reasonably priced. However, the food is kind of hit or miss for me. One time I went the potatoes I ordered came not very hot and not very soft and they didn’t get my second order of bacon (but wasn’t charged for it either. The last time I went the potatoes were *perfect* but the bacon was not hot. Seems to be a timing issue present in the kitchen. Apple juice is a bit expensive for just coming out of a jug of apple juice you get at the store. $3.50 for a small glass of a $4 jug. Don’t look up cus there’s lots of dust above, which has probably not been cleaned in years. I want to like the place. Clean it, and fix the cook’s timing and it’ll be great!
