Petite Clouet Café - New Orleans

A bit crowded. Good service and as expected coffee drinks.

Petit is my favorite cafe, I’ve become a regular since I moved to the neighborhood. For food, the new croissant breakfast sammies are great, as is the ham and cheese chroissant. They also have breakfast tacos made by the folks who used to run Rosalita’s. For drinks, the barista Lizzy makes an amazing lavender matcha you have to try!

I was here a week or two ago, the food was underwhelming; it looked better than it tasted. But what was the final nail in the coffin was the staff, the staff got angry when I only tipped 5%. This interaction caused the rest of my visit to feel quite unwelcoming and uncomfortable as a black latino gay man. Edit: you're accusing me of being a bot? You're staff are jerks over a 5% tip! They are greedy!

A very nice café with a lot of charm and very friendly service. There are also vegan and gluten-free pastries

Really just bad food and all. Takes too long and they act like children when I tip “only” 5%.
