Pepe's Grill - COZUMEL

Wanted to have some nice cocktails… specially looking for an Expresso Martini with Patron XO Cafe… the bartender want aware that Patron even makes a coffee flavored product. I then order a Manhattan and again the bartender didn’t have any idea how to make one. Sorry guys, if the bar can’t create a simple popular cocktail I am not sticking around for what might be coming out of the kitchen. Disappointing. Maybe food is great is should be accompanied with a great bar.

After missing the 7:00pm ferry, my mom and I decided to grab some food and wound up at Pepe's. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our entire meal. We had the salmon, mac and cheese, octopus and grilled veggies. My mom enjoyed her salmon and I loved the octopus. Whatever kind of seasoning they put on the octopus was really delicious. You can also sit by the window and people watch the main strip of Cozumel.

We had met this waiter Cristian Britto Canche 3 years ago at Ibostar Resort in Cozumel and he was really decent with us. We kept in contact on occasion through Facebook and we able reconnect yesterday at Peppe's Grill in Cozumel where he recommended the ceaser salad that he made the dressing from scratch. We enjoyed our dinner immensely as it was a really nice quiet resturant with amazing views. The food was hot and tasteful The beers were nice and cold with chilled glasses. I wish we could have sampled more of the menu but we were stuffed. If you looking for a t meal and great service go to Peppe's grill and ask for Christian. But remember to relax as your on Mexico time.

If you are looking for a gourmet meal a spectacular view, look no further than Pepe 's! The food was absolutely amazing and although it is pricey , I guarantee you would pay more in the states for the same meal without the amazing view! There were six in our party and everyone ordered something different, yet everyone was delighted. In addition, it was my sister-in law 's birthday and Pepe 's brought out a beautiful piece of dessert with a sparkler. (Note: this is not really a kid-friendly menu--I would save Pepe 's for families that have older kids or just adults.

I had the best fish ever at this restaurant. It was caught that day and grilled to perfection. The flavors were subtle yet nuanced and the fish flaked apart. The veggies weren't overcooked and the rice was done exactly right. This is a classy place, with a nice, romantic ambiance that will add flair to your date, whether it's the first one or your fifteenth. High recommended.
