Chen Rio - COZUMEL

Nos recomendaron el restaurante en el hotel, llegamos y los alimentos deliciosos y el mar con una vista hermosa. Esta super tranquilo para nadar, el agua transparente. Muy recomendable, el dar el recorrido en la isla y llegar a comer a Chen rio.

Hicimos una parada para bañarnos en la playa de Chen Rio y nos quedamos a comer en este chiringuito playero. Comida buenísima a pie de playa y con muy buenos precios.

Restaurant de comida local situado sobre el arena de la hermosa playa Chen Río de acceso libre y con estacionamiento sobre el Km 42 de la carretera Costera Oriental Sur. Atendido con esa cálida sencillez que tiene la gente que trabaja en su propia región y la lleva en su alma. Buena carta con 90% productos del mar, todo tipo de bebidas y postres; con opciones de picadas para recorrer todos los platos para 4 o hasta 6 personas. Sillas y mesas de plástico sobre el arena a 20 metros del mar. Una vista única y platos bien logrados y abundantes para una persona. Es un excelente lugar para un alto en el camino al recorrer el lago Oriental de la isla de Cozumel. Después del almuerzo, siesta en la playa, un poco de snorkel y el atardecer será de la cerveza. No hace falta que te muevas, todo en el mismo lugar. Solo efectivo.

I thought the food would have been better... nice place but would try somewhere else next time. The atmosphere was very nice, and so were the employees.

We had such a great time here on Wednesday that we decided to go back on Tuesday…it was a ripoff the second time. Prices were great for food and drinks on Wednesday. We were able to use a credit card to pay and the bathrooms were clean…Tuesday the entire bathroom area smelled so foul and nasty that you could hardly walk near it, we were told we could not use a credit card at all cash only and the prices were more than double. We rememberers that on Wednesday that we were given an actual ticket but on Tuesday the young fellow wrote it on a napkin…I think he was cheating us and the establishment….we paid the higher amount and chalked it up to a dishonest waiter. They need to keep better tabs on the wait staff. People will figure it out and quit going over there. It is a taxi ride from the main strip. We also saw a few people carrying this glass beer bottles and glass drink cups I got the water the second time. UNSAFE! There could be a serious accident if someone cuts their foot on broken glass in the sand. I cannot believe that the same place could be so different less than a week apart.
