Where to start? •Walking in we were greeted by a very friendly young... read more First time in years we’ve been here! Wow! What have we been missing? 5 stars in every way! Where to start? •Walking in we were greeted by a very friendly young lady, who was attentive, friendly, courteous and just so good at her job! •The decor was beautiful and the Christmas decorations were perfect •A cosy wood burning stove added to the ambiance •The food was absolutely perfect, there were 5 of us ordering from the extensive Christmas menu, belly pork, Katsu curry, fish and chips, plus starters and desserts! All tasty and cooked perfectly! •We were able to order extra drinks from our table without being made to feel it was too much trouble for the bar lady! •We had one adult and 2 young children tag along with us, just for a drink and a bag of crisp! They were all happily accommodated, even though they were not booked in! We will definitely be back, many times in the future! Thank you to all at The Fox and Hounds for restoring our faith in village pubs!
