They have a bar and restaurant. We ate at the restaurant.Limited menu but good choice. Quality of the food was very good, like beef and example risotto. Fresh ingredients and fast service.Good wines and beers at reasonable prices. Nice location for a better dinner. View all feedback.
What Paul M doesn't like about The Imperial Hotel:
Deep fried lamb cutlets? Horrible. Why wouldn't you shallow fry? We wouldn't recommend going there. Chefs explanation didn't make sense. I hope he comes to realise that oily overcooked beautiful young lamb cutlets is an abomination of a delicious cut of meat. I'm sorry he didn't understand my criticism as it wasn't personal. Good luck to him as he is having a crack at a tough industry! View all feedback.
Fantastic lunch, I had the open steak sandwich and my wife had wavy steak and veggies. The service was outstanding. Staff very friendly and off to carry drinks out to us. Great country service. We advised the staff of the fantastic meals and the young lady said the reason the food is so good is the chef owns the imperial Hotel. Well done chef great food great service. Look forward to returning again soon.

A solid country pub with a classic pub menu. All our meals were great. The turf and surf was excellent. A great selection of beers on tap including both old favorites and some edgy craft beers.
First night on our trip and had dinner here. Crumbed lamb cutlets were sensational and wife had the lamb risotto which was equally great. The table opposite us also asked for the cutlets after asking my thoughts when I eventually came up for air.
Decided to visit for a birthday dinner. Already quite busy but we had a good table. We ordered a garlic bread, lamb shank with mash and veg and the vegetarian risotto with roasted veg. The shank was large, beautifully cooked with a really yummy sauce. Most enjoyable. The risotto again a large serve very generous with the feta and Parmesan. It was very tasty but the veg weren’t roasted and missing some roasted capcicum and tomatoes or cauliflower just to freshen it up. The caramelisation on roasted veg would have lifted the flavour. Both meals were hot to the table which is a plus. Service was excellent and meals came out without too long a wait especially as it was busy. We have been here a few times in the past few months and has been great each time.
