Stopped in for a quick snack on way through town. But quick it was not!Friendly and pleasant young lady took our order which included just two drinks and two cold sandwiches.Waited almost one hour before they arrived.My sandwich was missing one item and had to be returned.My wife's sandwich had soggy brown lettuce.The drinks took another five minutes but were quite good.We watched other patrons waiting similar length... After a family memorial 40 of us descended on this great cafe. What a delicious assortment of food. We took over the outside area between the Cafe and tourist information centre. We "borrowed" tables from in front of the cafe, no problem, to join the other tables. The food was hot delicious served pretty quickly considering the number of orders they had. We spent about 3 hours there enjoying the catch up. Only one problem is we had to use the toilets in the Maccas which was next door. I wish we lived closer so we could make it our local!
A popular spot because of its position at the confluence of highways, and because of their good food. Menu is about burgers, sandwiches, fish & chips, toasted fingers and such-like, but always tasty. Ordering is at the counter in a single queue which is usually a slow process, but the service is otherwise quick considering the numbers. Gluten-free is very limited.It is conveniently located opposite the extensive rose gardens, next to the Tourist Information Centre and among several public toilets all on the one corner (Take your pick or try them all!)
A lovely well priced lunch. The cafe was terrifically busy but the staff remained pleasant and friendly, nothing was a bother. My friends has coffee and said it was the best they'd had the whole weekend. Would definitely recommend
Excellent coffee and very fresh and delicious meals. One of the best burgers and thick shakes I've had!!
Waited 40 minutes for 2 wraps & 2 coffees take away. Plenty staff on but only few mainly carrying the workload. We were spoken rudely to a number of times during our lengthy wait & will never return!
