Munchies Takeaway - Cowra

Stopped here to get a bacon and egg burger. Hadn’t been before It just happened to be between here and there at the time. I would have shrilled “Glory, Glory, Hallelujiah” up and down the Main Street of Cowra if I hadn’t been too busy shovelling one of the most delicious breakfasts I believe I’ve ever eaten into my mouth. I see that various other reviewers have complained that the server/cook is a grumpy type, but I wouldn’t have cared if he’d snarled and thrown bread crusts at me, such was the skill of his work. Artists can get away with bad behaviour. I’ve had wonderfully polite people serve me the most atrocious food on planet earth, and total pigs whip up a feast. In the end what I care about is the meal itself—unless I’m paying through the nose at a fine dining restaurant and then I want good service as well as good food—and what I got at munchies in Cowra is the best bacon and egg burger ever! Brings a tear to my eyes remembering it, but I’m 1500 k down the track now and can’t get back for a while. Try it, you’ll love it.

Leaving town to continue the trip, Munchies was open half five in the AM, best bacon and egg roll and coffee I had eaten in quite some time, and the sandwiches they made were lovely and fresh and bursting with filling. Great value for money and very friendly people to boot.

These clients are very happy with the service ,sandwiches and wraps platters with excellent quality n quantum we also have beef n chicken Kebabs on the menu, and we still have all the items on our large menus board

They have forgot and lost orders. portion sizes have decreased and staff can be very rude. Avoid during busy times.

Munchies a great feeling cafe with friendly helpful local staff that greet you with a smile at every visit. I am talking about the new owners/staff of 3 months. April 2016). The burgers are to die for with Quality meat and fillings.I recommend the burger with the works my favourite. The fish and chips you would have to travel a long way to get better quality. You can sit outside and enjoy your meal/coffee and watch the world go bye. May also add the new owners keep a super clean shop with vibe. As Molly would say do yourself a favour and get on down to Munchies. Did I mention the great coffee that they make. I 'd invite J H, Robert C,bondibeach2015 to try the new owners menu, you will not be disappointed with the experience/service. You can even phone your orders through before hand to save time.
