My partner and I had lunch at this restaurant. We both enjoyed the pumpkin soup and roast vegetable salad, which were delicious. The service was fantastic and we felt very welcomed. The staff were friendly and the decor was nice in a clean space, with indoor and outdoor seating available. This charming cafe is located just off the main street. The ambience was pleasant and it would be a great spot for families. View all feedback.

I have marked this as average as I can only judge it on coffee and a snack. We sat outside in the sun and my wife went inside to order and she reported this took some time.We were put off by the children screaming inside (the owners?) and the time it took for coffee to arrive. Mine had been spilt into the saucer and my wife coffee quite cold. However the service was friendly and as they appeared to be new owners I wis... View all feedback.

During our Easter break in Cowes, we were thrilled to discover Pennylane Cafe. My partner loved the pancakes and I was impressed with my perfectly poached eggs served with bacon, mushrooms, and tomatoes. The meal was absolutely delicious. We would have returned for a second breakfast on Easter Monday if we didn't have plans already. We look forward to visiting Pennylane Cafe again on our next trip to Cowes. - Christine and Christopher
This restaurant appears charming and inviting, so we decided to step inside. Unfortunately, there were no available seats, so we opted for takeaway coffee instead. Despite the lack of seating, the cafe was not overly crowded. However, the service was disappointing as two staff members ignored me for an unacceptable amount of time when I tried to place my order. Even though it was Easter weekend, I hoped for better service. It took quite a while to receive one milkshake and two coffees, and I had to inquire about the coffee as it was forgotten. Additionally, one of the takeaway coffees had a lid that was not secured properly, causing half of it to spill. Overall, the service was very poor.
