Shane's Rib Shack - Covington

I won't be returning. The service was lacking, especially considering I was the only customer at 7 PM on a Tuesday. I hadn't visited Shane in a long time, and today's experience was disappointing. Perhaps I'm mistaken, but the portion sizes seem much smaller, the dishes were lukewarm, and nothing tasted fresh. I'm giving it two stars, and that feels generous.

If I gave him a 0 star. We ordered our food to go out at 7:50. They informed me that it was about 20 minutes to cook for the burgers. No PROBLEM. We sat in the stands between the hour 7:50 and 8:20 3 other people came in, ordered and left with food in the hand. At 8:45 almost 1 hour after the order I ask how much longer. More than patients for the 20 minutes it takes to cook a burger. And we will say that the ticket has not returned there, but 3 other orders have made it successful there and prepared it. From the time of 8:20, when the last customer served 8:45, we stayed at the front without one while they had closed. When they came out of the back, one of the cashiers ensured that she could take her food home before we had to go to ASK where our food was. We had EVER at Shane 's. To cover everything, we went to my son's birthday because what he wanted for dinner, but didn't want to go to the house.

I ordered the door. We ordered the 2 meat plates and 2 vegetables. It should have BBQ sauce on the grilled chicken and the smoked chicken wings. No ounce BBQ sauce anywhere. Secondly, my smoked wings were burned and cooked and barely meat. I couldn't eat her. The grilled chicken was so dry and over boiled that my mother crocheted over to a piece of it. It was a rather expensive meal that was extremely difficult to eat. We threw it out. I tried to complain by phone, but the phone was busy forever.

I ordered through DoorDash, and the ribs were as black as the box they came in. The pulled pork was burnt and tasted like lighter fluid. The only redeeming part of the meal was the toast, which was good and buttery. The only reason I gave it one star is because I had to give at least one to submit the review, shaking my head.

Absolutely disgusting! For some reason my GrubHub option was this location and was the first time and will most certainly be the LAST time I would ever waste money at this establishment. I have emailed the store as well. The order was all wrong, drinks missing and this so-called BBQ (pork) is horrible! It is so greasy it is swimming in grease in the box (see photo), flavorless AND full of fat, a piece of a bone and had to be drained of grease and fried in a pan before we could even eat it. The chicken tenders are grilled but not fully cooked. They went straight in the trash. The fries were swimming in the lemon pepper sauce that was meant for the tenders and were the wrong side, the order was for potato salad. Everything was stone cold and the 2 drinks were missing. A waste of money and very disappointing.
