On October 4, 2022, I visited the PJ's in Covington and ordered an iced herbal tea. Unfortunately, the server brought me black tea instead. I pointed out the mistake, and he offered me another choice. When I inquired if it was an herbal iced tea, he assured me that it was. However, it turned out to be non-herbal again, which was a significant issue for me since I'm intolerant to caffeine and can only consume herbal teas. After taking a few sips, I realized the error. This experience not only wasted my time and money, but it also posed a risk to my health. I frequent this PJ's nearly every week, and while I understand that providing good service can be challenging, it's essential for servers to pay close attention to what they are serving. Just imagine if I were diabetic and received cane sugar instead.
I frequent this PJ's on weekends and after school, and the baristas are always friendly. The coffee is served quickly! I visited today and was having a rough day, but the barista complimented my outfit and was exceptionally kind (as usual), which really lifted my spirits. I always feel this way when I visit. This PJ's has transformed me from a Starbucks lover into a devoted PJ's fan! It's never too crowded, and there are usually a few seats open.
The main reason I’m giving three stars is because the coffee just isn’t good. I’ve been to other PJ’s Coffee locations nearby, and they all have that smooth Dolce espresso flavor. Unfortunately, the first time I tried this location, the coffee was disappointing. I decided to give it a second chance since I was in the area, but the coffee here is very bitter. I couldn’t get past how different it tasted.
Visiting PJ's for a bran muffin and a freshly brewed cup of coffee is always a pleasure. The staff is consistently welcoming as soon as you enter.
I recently visited through the drive-thru and had a great experience. The staff was always friendly, and my order was correct. The products are wonderful! I really enjoy the protein velvet ice drinks—they're delicious and healthy, which is a plus for my dietary needs!
