Contribute FeedbackTrappers Sushi received mixed reviews from customers. While some praised the service and quality of the food, others were disappointed by their experiences, including issues with delivery, changes in food quality, slow service, and higher prices. Despite these criticisms, there were positive highlights, such as the delicious Veggie Roll, amazing sushi, and generous portion sizes. The inconsistency in customer experiences suggests that Trappers Sushi may be struggling to maintain its reputation, but some customers still find it worth a visit for a special meal or sushi fix.
My first time at Trapper. I had no idea what to order. Sitting in the sushi bar, the sushi cook was helpful to describe some of the roles he thought I could enjoy. I recommend the CRYSSI Veggie Roll. Amazing!!! So tasteful and delicious!!! Thanks for the great experience. I'm back!
Redemption! A few weeks ago I wrote an evaluation about the service how slow it was. We always loved the food and had great service, we visited Trappers at least once a week and never had this kind of service. Well, I'm glad to report that the service this week was Top Notch and the food. We sat in the bar, we're right there. We got our drinks and the food was fast. We enjoyed our time there again! Great job, Trapper Sushi Covington!! Big job!
Came for lunch and they offer everything you can eat (forgot soon, since his a while come here). So decided to go with it and it was totally worth it. I wish I could remember what sushi is from the picture, but everything is just so delicious! The one who got the wow from other guest named Bonney Lake (fourth picture, above). It was an amazing experience, amazing food, amazing staff! The place is smaller than tukwila and federal way, but since I came to lunch, there was nothing. Definitely recommend to come here!
Our favorite spot for sushi. So many options from roles. Got her Valentine special this year and loved the wine couples.
Service was great at first. The bartender was awesome and took great care of us while we waited for space at the All You Can Eat. The sushi chef was funny and entertaining, he introduced his specialty roll which was delicious. He did get behind a few times with orders because he had a hard time chatting and making rolls you could tell the waitress were getting a little annoyed with him. They didn't keep their masks completely covering their faces at all times and it made me a little nervous and the sushi chef told us he had had COVID and still couldn't taste. The bartender turned us over to a waitress who was supposed to check on us but no one ever checked on us during our time at the all you can eat bar. We had to wait for a good mins for us to get our bill so we could leave...everyone was too busy to pay attention to us and when we finally did get someone to pay attention she blamed it on the bartender and said that she was supposed to take care of us even though the bartender was supposed to leave a couple of hours before we left (the bartender was still on site helping with things because it was so busy but she technically had passed us on to Casey the waitress). Because of the confusion, lack of attention and not able to handle the stress of being busy...that's why I rated them low. It would have been higher if someone had taken care of us after the bartender passed us on and we didn't have to wait forever for our check to come. The sushi chef even asked if we are just hanging out or waiting to pay...we told him we were waiting for our bill but nothing happened after that.
