The food was buffet style and was really nice. The staff were all very helpful, although as it was buffet they didn’t need to interact with us too much. And the price was absolutely amazing. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: English Breakfast

Meet a friend here for lunch with my wife and daughter, we had booked in advance to avoid not getting a table. On arrival we stood at the sign that said wait to be seated but nobody came to greet us, after a while someone from the bar yelled sit anywhere you like, which we did and ordered food and drinks. We ordered 3 carverys and a kids pizza and chips, We waited for the pizza to arrive before going up to get our carverys which took ages and we had to ask twice before it arrived the carvery was ok but the pizza was horrible the base was paper thin and dry and the cheese and tomato topping was too, when we complained about the pizza the server didn 't care! When I ask are they normally like that he responded I don 't know I don 't look at the food on the plate I just take it to the table It was clear from his response that nothing was going to be done so we paid and left.
