The Holyhead pub serves as a lively gathering spot, offering a menu that, while not gourmet, delivers pleasant and enjoyable food. Despite some inconsistencies, such as occasional cold dishes and longer wait times, the pub generally garners positive feedback for its friendly staff and accommodating service, especially regarding dietary needs. Patrons appreciate the attentiveness of the team in resolving parking fines, showcasing a commitment to excellent customer service. Ideal for casual gatherings, the atmosphere is welcoming, though it can become crowded during weekends. Overall, the Holyhead remains a reliable choice for a casual dining experience.

This is a very pleasant chain pub. You're not going to get haute cuisine, but the food is very pleasant, and the drinks have variety, and the staff are very pleasant. Worth a midweek treat, but best to avoid at weekends when the crowds descend.

Dropped in to swap tickets for Cov vs Wolves, did not realise that the car park was a separate entity and ended up with a fine. The staff were really helpful and quashed the ticket. Top people.

We recently celebrated a family birthday at The Holyhead with a party of 13, and I can honestly say the experience was faultless from start to finish. Despite the size of our group and the fact that we all ordered different meals, the service was absolutely exceptional. A huge thank you to Josh the kitchen manager, who went out of his way to accommodate a few fussy eaters (children and adults! . He was incredibly patient and flexible, which made such a difference and meant everyone could enjoy their meal just how they liked it. The staff were friendly, attentive, and well-organised, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The food arrived promptly, hot, and beautifully presented — no easy task with a group our size! Highly recommended for anyone planning a family gathering or special occasion. We’ll definitely be back!
