The lady who served me... read more I went here with my friend for lunch, the pub is nice and clean and spacious. We found a table then I went to the bar to get some drinks. The lady who served me was very friendly and we had a bit of banter about the art of pouring a Guinness 0% from a can when her male colleague showed her a different way to do it! Having looked at the menu and deciding what myself and my friend wanted, we went to the bar and ordered. Again enjoying some friendly banter! We didn't have to wait long for the food to come out and when it did, it was hot and well presented. Over all we really enjoyed our meals and the whole experience of our visit to this pub. What an absolute amazing place from calling at 11 am and not hopeful of a big table booking they accommodated 18 of us that evening in the family area so we cou... read more What an absolute amazing place from calling at 11 am and not hopeful of a big table booking they accommodated 18 of us that evening in the family area so we could see the kids playing through the window, atmosphere was cracking, staff ever so friendly and welcoming, llys of laughter and xoncersation with staff, food well what can I say with there being 18 of us we had a huge selection of the menu it's was tasty and well presented my 5 yr old son actually ordered another pizza to bring home the food came out all at the same time given there was 4 different orders nice crispy chicken steak cook perfect ribs melted of the bones, great they have a 3 appetite option on kids memu just what a lovely evening we as a family had out, would highly recommend and will definately be returning as the kids have asked to go again, oh we are not local actually a 40 minute drive away Price per person: £100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

He... read more We came for a 21st birthday and we had accidentally booked it in for the wrong day. The manager was so accommodative and welcoming regardless of our mistake. He took really good care of us, learned our names and made us feel so welcome he even decorated our table with the decorations we provided. Our food was great. Really good portions and flavours. Staff and manager checked on us often to make sure everything was okay. Bartenders were lovely. Especially the really tall one hahah he was super friendly and welcoming when answering questions about drink preferences etc. Thank you so much for the hospitality and warm welcome.
