My starter, the black pudding Scotch egg, was disappointing; it was cut open and overpowered by a filling of mayonnaise and very bland slider rolls. However, the sirloin I had as my main course was excellent—an incredibly tasty piece of meat cooked perfectly. The chips were also a standout. The views over the golf course were very enjoyable.

The location for special occasions is fantastic, and the staff were friendly.
