Feedback
Located in the heart of London, The Blues Kitchen offers a vibrant atmosphere and a penchant for live music that keeps patrons coming back. While many guests rave about the friendly staff and prompt service, recent visits reveal a disparity in satisfaction. Some diners express disappointment over the revamped menu, particularly missing the beloved pork ribs, while others appreciate the charming decor and reasonably priced meals. However, the transition from dining to the crowded main space can leave some feeling rushed and charged extra for coat checks. Overall, The Blues Kitchen remains a popular, albeit polarizing, destination for music and dining enthusiasts.
I enjoy visiting the Blues Kitchen when the opportunity for the past year is now presented. It was my experience that everyone is friendly and accommodating without lack of joy. This last visit was no exception. The height of the courtesy professional is never overlaid and - always- always-observing. OUr Essen, as usual, quickly came out and our cocktails were consistent and poured out in fine cut glass. When our table time went out, we were even given a place to refine our drinks without getting angry. Keep the big work going and I'm looking forward to my next visit.
Really nice atmosphere. Amazing staff! We arrived earlier than our booking time, the host solved a table for us really fast! Thank you and we will see you soon!
I really enjoyed my dinner here, the staff are soooo beautiful!
I had an amazing experience at The Blues Kitchen Brixton. It was a completely different experience than I was expecting. We had our table for dinner for the planned 2 hours. However, at the end, we were rushed to order our cocktails before being asked to vacate the table. We were then pushed into the main room where we had to stand with our £15 cocktails in hand, navigating through the crowded space. The security guard even told us to move out of the way. When I tried to check my coat at the cloakroom, despite the young age of the crowd, I was charged an additional £5 for each item I checked, on top of the £70 I had already spent. It felt like a bit of a joke.
I was a bit disappointed with our recent visit to the restaurant. My friends and I are frequent customers, especially for the blues music nights. I used to work at the Brixton branch, so I have high expectations. However, I was unimpressed with the new menu. I don't think it's worth the price, and the ribs didn't taste as good as they used to. Please bring back the pork ribs!
