View all feedback.
What Daniel Martins doesn't like about Solmar:
on our trip to the restaurant. the waitress did not care to show the table we could sit on. ordered steak and mixed fish dish. steak was in order, mixed fish boiled under (instead of replacing the whole plate they only cooked fish again). the price is okay. but undercooked fish is not. Um bom almoço. Bebemos poncha tradicional.
Only for coffee stopped very welcoming with wonderful terrace on the sea very clean toilets and well dressed inviting tables inside
This afternoon at 3.30 a.m. after a long hike stopped. I wanted to have a drink after they saw that they have a nice terrace on the back. next to two occupied tables on the terrace was the space empty. was received by a very grim...blonde dame with a ponytail. on unfriendly wise she informed us that the terrace was only available for people with food. only for drinks we were offered a table from the parking lot on a concrete wall. I found that very small, as the place was almost empty. who eats at 3.30 a.m. on the afternoon and even so would have offered a table on the terrace, but she said that she must ask us if the place is busy (probably! the Portuguese people are in the usually so hospitable, but this woman was the most unfriendly we have come across the islands and on the mainland. not surprised by the low reviews of this site that dame is clearly somewhat frustrated.
