J J Fish Chicken - Courtland Township

It's not too good, I try my best to patronize Black owned business, but this place could do with some major improvement. I waited over 40 minutes or more for my order after being told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Wings were burnt a little. Not upset, improve. I'll come back. I'm not a gambler, but it seems like the gambling area and the bar setup look nice. But the restaurant can be way better. Let's get it right, please I believe you can.

I patronized this place tonight, 6/21/2024. I placed my order at 10:15pm with the bar. It is 11:15pm and I still don't have my food. I asked the bartenders more than once about my food. BOTH of them had a bad attitude. The customer service was horrible. How do you get an attitude because I asked about my food. I asked 3x. The 3rd time, I told her that this isn't good customer service. No one even went to ask about our order. I am the customer. Don't get an attitude because I asked you about food that I ordered an hour ago!! Just unprofessional!!

The food was very good. The Italian Beef was tender and not overly cooked. It was dipped perfectly not to wet. My jerk chicken Philly was on point! The perfect blend of sweetness and spicy. Me and the wifey split 3 choice combo. Whiting, Perch, Chicken Wings. The wings was about average size small) but was seasoned and cooked nice and crispy! My whiting and perch was seasoned nicely, probably a little over cooked for some, but it works great for me. Wait time was probably around 35 minutes for a walk in, not bad for freshly cooked food and friendly service. I recommend for whoever is reading this and live

Called an order in, when I came to pick up the order was already taken by a random customer. I had to wait another 25 minutes so they can remake my order. By now it's legit an hour wait. I'm livid. I asked for the manager, come to find out he was there and left without acknowledging the issue. The workers argued they weren't wrong because the food was paid (their gain but dismissed the fact they were wrong inconvenienced my family. I will be calling in the morning to address the issue. Proper professional training is def needed. I'm good on this location. The ghetto

1st (food)off the food was highly expensive to be in Rockford when we have the catch and Mr Js who makes the same food for way less The food wasn't fresh tasting, sadly it only tastes good in Chicago 2nd(services) ..There slow AF I mean took 45 mins for a 6 piece n fries come on dawg fr lmao this is why I only ate there once 3rd(atmosphere)outside what can possibly go wrong while waiting outside for your food in Rockford east side listed as one the most dangerous areas to live by in Rockford Conclusion I high recommend that you stay away from this place
