Yiamas - Courtenay

The food was all fantastic. The meat tender and the veggies crisp. the atmosphere is one of fun and you feel like you are in Greece.

I have eaten at Yiamas on many different occasions, but having an awesome meal, great time and a quick walk to Sid Williams for an evening performance was perfect. We will be back! BTW happy 5th anniversary!

The food at Yiamas is good quality for the dollar. The menu has a good selection, but beware the moussaka has only a vegetarian option. Service is friendly. Atmosphere can be a bit noisy if the restaurant is full, but service does not seem to suffer.

I was visiting a friend in Courtenay and he suggested we go to Yiamas. We found parking right close to the front door and entered, the place was quite busy but they acknowledged us and gave us a table almost immediately. We sat down and the server came to get a drink order and tell us about the features of the evening. We decided to get two different dishes and share. When we told the server this, they brought out both entrees split up on two separate plates to avoid a mess at the table...well done and good service listening to customer needs. We ordered the chicken souvlaki which was perfectly cooked and the moussaka which was as authentic as being in Greece. We were offered dessert but we were just in for a short visit and with all the food we received at dinner had no more room left for this but will definitely be back to try more from the menu. The food was fresh and well presented and perfectly cooked and the service was attentive and the place was clean. We will definitely be back and drive to Courtenay to dine here again.

Wonderful food, wonderful service and had dinner on the patio Great place to celebrate our 31 anniversary. Cannot go wrong eating here.
