What User doesn't like about Westerly Restaurant:
The restaurant offers a good selection of high-quality baked goods, but the prices are extremely high. Paying over $13 for only six butter tarts is not worth it. View all feedback.
First of all, the greeter was outstanding: called me sir, and my wife, Ma'am, which was seen as SO respectful! He actually turned out to be our waiter, too. I had the Eggs Benedict on salmon, seeing it was my father's day breakfast, and it was top-notch! Coffee was great, my wife's meal was great, and it was brought to us quickly. Highly recommended. Also: we ate here because the hotel gave us two seven dollar vouchers, which was rather nice of them, don't you think?
My family and I stayed at the hotel overnight and decided to give this restaurant a try. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with our experience. The service was terrible, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. We ordered a "share plate" of appetizers with chicken wings and a meal for each of us. Despite the menu offering 10 flavors of wings, we were not given a choice and the wings had no flavor at all when they arrived. Our 4-year-old's fish and chips with gravy came out 30 minutes before the rest of our meals, and there was no gravy. The food was served sporadically to different tables, with one meal coming to our table and two meals going to another table. When we finally received our meals (which were 3 different flatbreads), my flatbread was missing the bacon it was supposed to have and had a soggy French fry under the cheese. My husband's drink was never refilled, and we had to wait for 2 hours before the meal was over. Overall, the experience was awful and we would never eat here again. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and would suggest looking for better food elsewhere. McDonald's is a five-star dining experience compared to this place.
I went the first time to try their steak sandwich special. It was a sad little meal so I thought I'd go try the brunch. There was no signs as to where to go and no one to direct us, When we did find it they had shut it down early.

A very good selection, but make sure to get the $7.00 discount coupon which you only get if you book directly through the hotel, not honoured through Expedia. The hot trays were kept well supplied
