Four gals went for Tulio's Monday Afternoon Tea May 1st. As this was my first time for tea I was impressed beautiful china throughout never was my tea cup empty. The scone with strawberries and cream started us off followed by sandwiches then some very decadent treats. Everything was presented on tiered serving dishes you certainly felt pampered. View all feedback.
What John Bella doesn't like about Tulio's Casita Ltd:
We had heard mixed informal reviews from people who had eaten at Tulios but decided to give the place a try. It is conveniently located along Cliffe Ave, and easy to find, with good nearby parking.Unfortunately, although we were almost the only people in the restaurant, the service was slow and the food, when it finally came, was scarcely worth the wait. The two couples in our party were unanimous in their evaluation... View all feedback.
Amazing escargot! They have really great steak. Better than some of the so called steak houses. Really good service.
Unfortunately only open from Wednesday to Saturday but there is a High Tea also served- call to get dates. All meal come with a salad which is very good. Sometimes the service is a bit slow but worth the wait.
It took 1 hour to get my starter which was burnt. The cook that took my starter out of the oven knew it was burnt. The waitress ( Tulio's daughter) who served me knew it was burnt but served it to me anyway. Another hour to get my over done steak. This restaurant used to be the one that set a high standard for other 5 star restaurants to meet. No longer a 5 star restaurant but just burnt out staff and owner trying to make some bucks before retiring. So sad.
Simply the best dining in the valley for decades. If you like garlic - this is the garlic haven. We once had a gal join us for dinner who had a newborn. the next morning she breastfed the kidlet and dropped the child off at the grandparents - they could smell garlic on the baby!!! Beat that!
