We go for many special occasions as well as spontaneous casual meals. It has never disappointed me! Their steak is always to perfection and Mom loves the creamy lobster Mac View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Prime Chophouse and Wine Bar:
We went there to celebrate Mother's Day. None of us were thrilled with our orders - we didn't say anything as we left cause we didn't want to spoil Grama's day. The most disappointing of all were the veggies on my granddaughters plate - they were terrible in texture and look (not at all what you'd expect for a very pricey kids meal). They weren't very busy yet no one came to see how things were. By the time they did... View all feedback.
An out of town visitor travelling in a small RV, we fell in love with the look of this restaurant from the street and had to come back for dinner. Words like prime and "wine bar" in the name were further enticements. The restaurant's interior was as classy and well-appointed as we hoped and we had a very good dinner. Admittedly, there was a little inconsistency in our food which we took up with the waitress and got graciously corrected, but reading other reviews I can see how someone received something slightly off par and didn't speak up about it, and that brought about an entirely different result. Too bad, the customer shorted himself. Our server was top notch and clearly wanted to do everything in her power to make a great impression. The steak with onion rings was the star of our meal. It's a standard-enough thing, steak, but getting the elements exactly right with an elevated plating is nonetheless not always so perfectly executed. And the wine list was very good. The only downside of the evening is that the first two wines we asked for weren't in inventory. One wine--well,that happens, the guy before you got the last bottle. But two might be indicative of sloppy inventory control. A restaurant that uses the word 'wine bar' in its name can't really afford that.
Brutal, we walked in at 9:15pm on a Friday night and we were told that it was a slow night and they decided to closed.
After a great day of golf our group of 15 went to the Prime for supper. They made room for us in the pub and we were treated royally. The food was spot on, good portions and atmosphere was ideal for our group.

Nice location and beautiful building. I had a $30 steak that was not as good as the Keg. I don't think I'll be going back.
