We were six and ate at Noodle Joint and enjoyed the food immensely. They got 1 order mixed up but that was okay. Good food presentation! Good value for the price. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Noodle Joint:
Despite the friendly and prompt service at this restaurant, the meal was disappointing. It reminded me of the bland flavors you would serve to someone who is inexperienced with Asian cuisine. The concept of creating your own dish is interesting, but the final product was not enjoyable. Additionally, charging $5 for five tasteless shrimp is excessive. The concept of creating your own dish is interesting, but the final product was not enjoyable. Additionally, charging $5 for five tasteless shrimp is excessive. I shouldn't have to rely on hot sauce to make the food more palatable. The restaurant should reconsider their recipes, especially since they have strong competition from another noodle house on 5th St that is excellent. I tried the Noodle Joint for comparison purposes, but I won't be returning unless I hear that improvements have been made.
Food was borderline OK. Spring rolls were super greasy. Rice noodles were over cooked and falling apart - flavour were pretty bland.

We usually go to another noodle house in town, but I talked my husband into trying the noodle joint, what a mistake.Where do I start, there are so many negatives.Ridiculous price for what we got, some insipid veggies and gray stale chicken. We I mentioned to our server that the chicken was old she said not it wasn't it had been cooked yesterday. I expect fresh food when I go out to eat, if I wanted leftovers I would have stayed home.It is overpriced, we did not get the extra veggies we ordered. The server (I use the term loosley) brought our food but no cutlery, although she did tell us where to get it ourselves, I think she wanted us 5o clean our own table when we left.I can't believe that they are still in business, I should have read these reviews before we went. The give real noodle houses a bad name.
Honestly I wanted to love this place. It's got a great location, great ideas for food but missing the key attribute: Good food. We read the reviews beforehand, but wanted to give it a shot and were let down.My wife and I got the Spring Rolls, Satay and Sweet Tropical Curry Heat. The spring rolls were perfect, delicious and not too greasy. Both of our main dishes were at best below average. The Satay was packed with peanuts....and that was all you could taste. The curry had no heat whatsoever. The only word to describe either meals was bland. So disappointing. I could understand going here if it was cheap, but $40.00 for take out for 2 when you get more flavours from MacDonalds isn't worth it. We both added prawns to our meals and both had 5 prawns thrown in. 1 dollar per frozen prawn is steep.Again I love the idea of the place, but there are so many better options for Asian cuisine in the Valley for the same price. Go to Kinaree, Manvirros, Saigon Noodle House or Maple Pho Noodle House if you want your taste buds to be happy for the same price.
