The Courtenay Grind Espresso and Smoothie Bar

While out for a stroll with my friend and his dog at the Airpark, we stumbled upon the Grind. The staff was friendly, the coffee was good, and the treats were very delicious! It was definitely worth taking a break from our walk.

This is the cutest little coffee shop. I’ve had a handful of drinks here now and they are always delicious. The girls here are friendly and efficient. I am always very pleased with my service and will continue to come back. Thanks Courtenay grind.

I have been a fan of The Grind since I first visited the Comox Valley in 2003 when they were located in Royston. Now with multiple locations, they offer a wide selection of delicious coffees, espressos, and teas. I am thrilled that they are now located at the Airpark, a perfect spot for a refreshing drink during or after a long walk. While I used to enjoy their specialty teas, I now find myself drawn to their tempting selection of smoothie blended drinks. It's impressive how they can offer such a diverse menu from a small booth. I always have trouble deciding what to order, but I am never disappointed. This location also has a nice outdoor seating area. My only complaint is that they are not always open for enough hours.

I'm not sure if the address listed is correct, or if we accidentally went to a different location. The one we enjoyed was on the Driveway path in Courtenay. It was a fantastic spot to grab a coffee and pastry after our morning run along Riverway. The young women working there were incredibly helpful and friendly, providing great service and serving excellent coffee. They have a wide variety of coffee and teas to choose from, as well as delicious cakes and pastries. The outdoor seating was a nice touch, and the prices were very reasonable.

My family and I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years, whenever we visit our relatives in Ladysmith.
