What Curbin Choi doesn't like about Pho Maple Noodle:
Charges $2.99 for jasmine tea, which they’ve probably used same tea leaves over and over that entire day. Tasted like 99.9% water and 0.1% tea. And debit machine was broke. Cash only place. Why is it always the asian restaurants that debit machines are always “happens” to be not working? Interesting. Don’t you dare be asking for tip. That tea charge should cover tip. Will not be visiting this place. Ever. Service: Di... View all feedback.
Big servings, very good broth, quality ingredients, awesome service
Family friendly restaurant with deliciously fresh food and excellent service! Local family run buissness! I highly recommend the lemongrass chicken! We've never had a bad experience at this restaurant! Dietary restrictions: GF options! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
The wonton soup was good enough but the chicken chow mein was bland and gross. The presentation was terrible too. The waitress wasn’t nice either. Never asked how the food was and was really snotty once we complained. I understand why she’s upset but we did it in a nice way and even apologized. The atmosphere in the store is terrible too. It felt empty and unwelcoming. Service: Dine in
Great service and the wonton soup and combo dish was a large serving with great taste Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Wonton Soup
I had a very disappointing experience. I placed an order over the phone at 1130am to pick up at 1pm and I arrived 10 mins late due to traffic in town. They take my payment first and then tells me it will just be a few minutes. I asked if it was not ready yet then she explains that they had a rush at lunch and forgot it. If I knew they hadn't even started making it, i would've went somewhere else. I didn't like that they took my payment first without explaining. Now im stuck waiting for my food and they gave me a complementary can of coke to make up for their mistake which was a nice gesture. After waiting 15 minutes for my food, I was very surprised with the portion. The broth container was about the half of what I'd get at other pho places in town. They gave me a cooked noodle in ziplock bag size of my fist which is also less than half of what I'd get in other places. The broth was bland and it didn't come with any of the sauces. I was charged almost 90 dollars for 4 large soup and an order of deep-fried wonton which were also very small in size. I absolutely understand the price of food is expensive and they had to raise the price but this is sad.
