The PlayPlace was described as dirty but okay. The menu was standard and the staff was friendly. One customer appreciated the 24/7 drive-thru and the family-friendly environment. Another customer was impressed with the service and overall experience compared to other locations. Despite some issues with the app and cleanliness, the Courtenay franchise stood out for its friendly service and good food, making it a recommended choice for families and visitors alike.
We dropped into McDonal's for a quick bite to tie us over till dinner. We ordered the snack sized grill chicken wrap with chipotle sauce and a medium iced coffee with vanilla. It really hit the spot.
Not bad, seemed a little messy but nothing over the top. Washrooms were clean and finding a clean table was easy enough. Service was very quick and food came hot. Play place for families
Its a Mickey D's so the luxury is that the menu is pretty standard across the board. The facility is newer, clean, well up kept. Condiment area was stocked any time I was in there, staff was patient and helpful with customers.
I choice McDonalds because I had a 2 for 1 coupon. I wanted 2 Skor McFlurries. I had not been to McDonalds in years. I had a very hard time reading the menu as the sign kept changing. It was very annyoing. I gave up and asked what flavour McFlurries they sold. I waited and after 10 orders after me were already gone, I asked if there was a problem. It seemed they couldn't find the lids for the cups, but it was coming out shortly. I waited another 10 minutes and finally after I enquired again, the 2 McFlurres appeared. There was no sorry for the delay given. After I left I realized I had forgotten to use the coupon. I won't be back, but the McFlurries were very good.
Same as any McDonalds. Its big. It's clean. They offer the new do it yourself kiosk, which I like better. We dined in for lunch. They had a manager going around asking if your meal was good and if there was anything she could get for you. She brought a newspaper to the man sitting next to us and even took his tray when he finished eating. Little things like that go a long way!
