Rifugio Elisabetta - COURMAYEUR

I did not stay overnight, so my assessment is based on the restaurant I found excellent. the service is good, polnta and cold cuts simply delicious, beer as well. and the view is stunning. the last few minutes to get there are quite steep but. it's just a pity that they use single-use menus that are not environmentally friendly.

This place has a great downstairs area, food is great, brushetta, risotto, port and veggie and dessert. It has a great little shop with beer, wine, chocloate,crisps etc but showers were euros and were freezing cold and sleeping was awful. They stack you on...literally shoulder to shoulder in massive rooms, we were in the attic, there must have been at least people in the attic. We were in one big long bed. Step stairs down to toilet aswell. However great views and great staff

Over night during the dig. great eating on the balcony. bathroom hot water shut off, shower only hot when an early arrival, and breakfast consisted of cookies without options for additional eating. they would stay elsewhere, but enjoy the view of lunch or dinner.

Congratulations to Francesco, their chef for his delicious Rissotto'!!! We will certainly come back to stay in your Refuge soon!!!!!

The food was really good considering it's a refuge ! The dining room is a bit small and easily crowded. The staff is really frindly and nice.
