Dinner in Le Chabichou was a feast for the eyes and the senses! It's art. It was the best dinner ever. My favorite restaurant and good dining experience so far. The whole experience was super, the setting is very elegant and refined, the service excellent and friendly (not stuffy at all). A must!!! View all feedback.
What jeanbworldtraveller doesn't like about Le Chabichou:
Chef Rochedy was the superstar of this restaurant. After he sold it and died, everything changed. They redesigned it completely, it has entirely lost its charm. Stephane has gotten rid of the classic dishes and removed the a la carte menu. He is trying to make a modern cuisine and there is no identity anymore. In my opinion it is an absolute disaster and a shame. I will not be coming back to the restaurant. View all feedback.
I recently cried at Le Chabichou and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The food was the hands down, the best I ever had, every dish was beautifully designed and tasted incredible. The service was also remarkable, with the staff offering impeccable service that added to the entire culinary experience. I very much believe that this restaurant deserves to be a 3 Michelin star house for its exceptional cuisine and service. I recommend Le Chabichou to anyone looking for a truly extraordinary culinary experience.
I hate to review as poor but honestly when I dine at a 2 star restaurant I expect a lot. I was underwhelmed with the food however the service and the timing was very good. Two things that really threw me off was the bar staffs inability to make a simple dirty martini for me and my girlfriend, call me crazy but I feel that a 2 star restaurant should understand how to make a fairly simple cocktail. Then...the bread and butter...yes that’s right, part of the meal was bread and salted butter. No, not some brilliant garlic or truffle butter coating the pours of a warm or even toasted baguette. Just bread...and butter. We elected for the 7 course meal, and I’m glad we did not go for 9, I did leave full but I felt wildly unsatisfied with the palette selections. I know this chef has done wonderful things in his career but perhapshe is lacking the courage to push forward and experiment with risks. We will not be dining here again.
L excellence... comme dirait un Chef que je connais bien ! :
Moment très agréable en terrasse service un peu trop impersonnel mais il y avait beaucoup de monde ... Spas super
Trop hâte d'être à demain pour retrouver la famille rochedy !
