The service was excellent, friendly staff who were attentive without being overbearing. The pricing was reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes, which were more than satisfying. I decided to try the bao brisket, which I was excited about and it was tasty, soft and flavorful. I also got the brisket of black angus and that didn’t quite hit the mark for me. It was a bit dry and seemed overcooked, lacking the tenderness and juiciness that I typically enjoy in brisket. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t my favorite either. On a brighter note, the mashed potatoes were a highlight. They were creamy, well-seasoned, and a comforting addition to the meal. Overall, Tomahawk Restaurant has a lot going for it. Great service, good value, and some tasty dishes. While the brisket wasn’t my favorite, I’d still recommend giving the place a try, as there are plenty of other options on the menu that I’m sure are worth exploring.
