Oh my gosh! I live in El Paso, Texas, and I just had the best Christmas Eve meal ever—mussels in lemon cream sauce. I ordered from this restaurant because I had the same mussels on Whidbey Island, and now I’m going to support this business all year long as a Texan! View all feedback.

If you are not eating Penn Cove Mussels you are missing out. Just found out they are shipping to Costco distribution in Phoenix. Can you guess where I'm heading?? Yum. ???????????? View all feedback.
Best seafood ever! We ordered the Chef’s Choice Box, and it was over the top delicious. The customer service is exceptional- answered all of my questions and very prompt delivery. Thank you!

I cooked them today, using half the bag for the two of us, and I must say, these were the finest, sweetest, and most consistently excellent mussels I've ever had. I've traveled around the world and enjoyed mussels many times in Belgium, France, and Southeast Asia, but the Penn Cove mussels were absolutely top-notch—truly the best I've ever experienced. This has been a real eye-opener, and I'm hoping to find a way to source these mussels back home in Minnesota. Thank you, Penn Cove Shellfish! I also came across some negative comments about the company not valuing the environment. While I understand concerns, I think it's a bit of a cheap shot—things happen. I'm a staunch advocate for wildlife protection myself, having created 5,000 wildlife ponds in the Upper Midwest over the past 25 years.
Additionally, the boats have leaked gallons of motor oil into the water on multiple occasions. Again, the priority was just to repair the leak and return to work, without any thought for the environmental impact. It's distressing to see seals getting caught in the mussel lines, struggling and sometimes even strangling themselves in their attempt to escape. I would strongly advise anyone who cares about wildlife and the environment to think twice before buying from them. The mussels themselves are good, but the ethical considerations surrounding their harvesting practices are seriously concerning.
Penn Cove Mussels are my favorite type of mussel. They also offer a wide selection of oysters. All of their products are of very high quality and fresh from the water.
