What Geoff M doesn't like about Uno Momento:
We were “greeted” by the Italian manager, we told him we had a table booked. He led us to a table, pointed at it and walked away Another man came up and took our order. He and the other staff seemed very pleasant.I had steak,my wife had the chicken The meals were average, we had a bottle of wine and some drinks, we decided to finish the night with a brandy coffee and a tia Maria coffee, both were very poor, could not... Mixed feelings about this restaurant. In comparison to the majority of Italian restaurants in Durham, you won't be disappointed. The pizzas are not the best, but the pastas are above average. The hot chocolate is also a highlight. However, I wasn't a fan of the staff or the restaurant layout. For a better experience, I would recommend going to Spags or Rudy's nearby. Overall, this place is fine and better than some other options in the area. It may not be as good as chain restaurants like Domino's or Pizza Hut, but compared to other sit-down Italian places in Durham, it's definitely worth a try.
I visited a restaurant in Durham on Monday, April 29th for a sit-down meal and everything was perfect! We were visiting Durham for the day and wanted a light lunch. What we got was amazing and very good value for money. In fact, we were so full that we ended up with snacks later. I had an omelette with ham, cheese, and mushrooms, while my partner ordered a meat feast pizza and garlic bread. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted delicious, and all dishes came with sides included. The experience was very enjoyable and the staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend this place!
"The food was excellent, the staff was friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the restaurant was charming."
Food and service was shocking. Cold black pudding for start which wS tasteless. Pizza with no cheese and bland pasta for main with cold chicken. Staff were talking aboht us and made it really obvious, we did find this quite amusing. Absolutely disgusting. I wouldnt let my dog eat there. Amguessong this isn't the same as the one in Darlington. They are worlds apart.
Lovely food. Generous portions and friendly service
